Although we saw these people’s rise and fall because they were in the spotlight, the same dynamic happens in all of our lives, most of the time without us being aware of it. It’s an age old psychological principle that has been known about for probably 40 years. It is called ‘the shadow’ or suppression/repression. I like to call it the ‘crash-and-burn’ syndrome.

How to never have another argument
Imagine never again getting upset when someone disagrees with you, tells you you’re wrong, or contradicts you. Imagine enjoying and growing from this experience.
Is it possible?
Yes. All you have to do is follow the guidelines and practice the exercise below.
Before we get started though, let me clear something up. Not arguing doesn’t mean being weak or accepting whatever anyone else says. Not arguing doesn’t mean being pushed around, giving in or admitting you’re wrong. Not arguing is not a weakness, it is a strength. A Quick Recipe to Reduce Worry & Anxiety
Based on brain chemistry research described in the book “Emotional Intelligence” by Daniel Goleman, here is a tried and tested method to help reduce the habit of worry and anxiety
1. Relax.
Anxiety and worry excite the brain and nervous system which has a tendency to increase the level of anxiety. Take a few deep breathes, shake your arms, take a slow walk around the room, lie down for a few minutes; whatever it takes for you to relax briefly. (more…)
