Books
Goals
“The Alchemist”

"The Alchemist" is a fabulous book about following your dream. Set in the middle east and Spain, it is a book you can read again and again. I did. Another favorite of mine from Paulo Coelho is "Diary of a magus", but it seems harder to find that one.

“Rich Dad, Poor Dad”

“Think and Grow Rich” |
If you haven't read this classic on making money work for you instead of vice versa, then I suggest you do so! |
- Same as Rich Dad Poor Dad, if you haven’t read this one, it’s a must for anyone seeking to achieve their goals. An absolute classic. You get the ebook version of this book free when you buy my book “Blueprint -Change Your Life From the Inside Out” (how’s that for an innocent plug!)

Personal Growth – Relationships
“The Eden Project”

By far the most powerful book on relationships I have ever read. Still haunts my thoughts. Sobering, yet liberating - you'll never be the same again. Warning: Although the style is lyrical and prose like, this is not light reading materiel.
Personal Growth – Esoteric Philosophy
| “Ponder on this” |
“Shine Forth” |
A relatively gentle introduction to the fascinating subject of esoteric philosophy. |
If you find the standard esoteric philosophy texts to difficult to read first time round (that's me!), Shine Forth is your savior! I can't over recommend this book to anyone even vaguely interested in understanding the deeper how, where, why and most importantly, the how, of life in all its aspects. |
Uplifting Films

7 Years In Tibet |
You can't go wrong with Michael Caine and Robert Duval! In this surprisingly positive film they dish up a very positive message, and a general feel good ending. Kind of cliche, but very heart warming. |
A fantastic trip through the mountains of Tibet and the mountains of a mans inner world as he grapples with his own ego and the contrast between the western attitude of winning above all, and the eastern values of service to others. A inspiring and uplifting film that I wish Id never watched, so that I could watch it again. |

Meet Joe Black |
So funny, and so moving. Really gets you to think about what you really want and why you want it and if you had it would you really be happy. Brendon Frasier is brilliant as the poor guy who loses his soul to be liked, and then..... well, I won |
This one got panned by the critiques, apparently. I thought it was great. A little cheesy, and a little predictable maybe, but very powerful none the less. Brad Pitt is great in his roles, standing up admirably in the tornado that is Anthony Hopkins' powerful portrayal of an ethical business tycoon. |

I was surprised to find I really enjoyed this film. Great ethics - the lead doesn't compromise her vision, or get captured by the glitter of fame, etc. Contains some absolutely amazing dancing. A fun to watch, and inspiring film. |
